the begining he awoke one morning on his 12th b-day ready to begin his Pokemon journey. " honey, time for breakfast!" his mother hollered from the kitchen. " hey mom, where's dad at?" Alex asked his mother. " he's next door talking to Wyatt's father," she explained to her son. after Alex was finished with his food, he began to leave his home. " Alex don't forget your backpack!" Alex's mother said as she handed him his backpack containing all the materials he needs for his journey. "thanks mom," Alex said quietly to his mom as he began to leave.

Boat rides were so... tiresome. Dawn yawned as she wandered into Pallet Town. It was her first day in the Kanto Region -she'd just gotten off the boat from the Sinnoh region not all that long ago. For some reason the water seemed to make her tired. But, oh well... that didn't matter. What mattered was that she was here... now, finally. She could start off on her own journey and see something other than the typical Sinnoh Region.
Piplup was walking slowly behind her. It had been a long walk from the ports to Pallet Town, and Dawn wasn't even sure why she'd come to here. Maybe it was just because she had heard that it was cute little town, or maybe it was because Dawn only felt right starting from the beginning. And, to her, this was the beginning. But, either way, she and Piplup were here finally and they were ready to start off their newest adventure.

Bored.
That what that word was! Bored. He couldn't help it if he was bored. He hadn't been to Kanto for very long, and hadn't really had much time to get used to it, either. Yeah, so he was bored with this place. Only barely, though. He walked quietly, along with a tired-looking Typhloshin beside him. He didn't know why he left Nine at home. He just did. Now he was just hoping to find something as he walked along this quiet town.
