David vs Lucien, 1x1

“A fresh new challenge down at Quick Arena! And it looks like we’re going to assist a fast-paced battle! Introducing David Lawride and Lucien Deleon!”

David walked out of the tunnel under the seats and took out a Pokéball.

“Ready when you are!” He shouted to the other end of the arena.

That fresh, salty air from the top of the Hexagon Building was getting the crowd pumped up.

Lucien looked his challenger up and down, this was a free anf fun battle, but he wasn't going down easy.
"Alrighty then i will show you why I am an elite four!"

[Đ. Lawride]

"Ok! My turn!"

I trust you. He thought, getting another Pokéball out.

"Go! Ampharos!" He shouted, throwing the ball to the middle of the field.

The ray of light flew to its position, and an Ampharos emerged from it, creating a few sparks as it appeared.

Heh, this was a great chance to summon his ground type.
"Go Homok! Get ready to go down David!

[Đ. Lawride]

"Oh snap." David muttered, throwing the Pokéball to his left hand and taking out another one. "Ampharos, come back! Pidgeot, your turn!"

His crossed his stretched arms and the rays crossed each other, whilst one was headed for the arena and another for Ampharos.

The Bird Pokémon soon appeared in the arena, ready to battle.

Unfortunately, this meant David's last move that turn.

Not surprising that david would call back his pokemon, then again Lucien had prepaired his pokemon to take on there many faults and weakness.
"Homak use STone Edge! Sorry David, but your bird pokemon is going to get a face full of rocks!"

[Đ. Lawride]

"Pidgeot!"

The Stone Edge move was effective, needless to say. Pidgeot was gravely hit by it... but he wouldn't back down just yet. Stone Edge would keep in effect, but it was a stealth move.

"He's too weak... but I can't afford leaving another Pokémon with low health..." David whispered, trying to think of a strategy. "Pidgeot! Use Drill Peck! And make sure it hits hard!"

The bird was fast enough to strike, and with one last effort, Pidgeot flapped his wings to fly towards Homak to Drill Peck.

Lucien's Homak took the drill peck, but Lucien had a trick up his sleave.
"Homak use another stone edge, right as the pidgeot is attacking!"

[Đ. Lawride]

This was pretty much predicted. As much as he was disgusted, the Drill Peck had been a somewhat well succeeded suicidal attempt. But now things would get serious. With some health sapped, David could get some advantage.

"Pidgeot, you're too tired to keep going! Come back!" David ordered, pointing the Pokéball at the bird Pokémon.

The ray of light stretched to it, retrieving the Pidgeot back inside the ball.

"One chance." David muttered, taking another Pokéball out. "Walrein! You're up!"

The ball was thrown, and in no time, a Walrein emerged in the arena, growling at Homak.

"Walrein, use Ice Beam!"

It was a direct hit with an ice beam, but it wasn't over, Lucien may need Homak later.
"Return Homak, now go Drak!"

It may have taken his turn, but this Salamance would end the Walreins rein.

[Đ. Lawride]

David analyzed the situation carefully. He still had a chance to it.

"Walrein, its your chance! Use Blizzard!" He commanded lowering to avoid being caught by the snow storm that originated.

Lucien made a mistake, heforgot about flying and dragon's weakness to ice, hopefuly, he still had a chance.
"Drak use flamethrower through the blizzard at Walrein!"

[Đ. Lawride]

"Not enough! Walrein, freeze it down with Ice beam!" David commanded, followed by a shot of ice that crossed the field towards the Salamance.

Lucien knew if he didn't do something fast, salamance was done for, but he just remembered the move up his sleeve.
"Drak use Roost! Recover half ur health!"

[Đ. Lawride]

"Not so fast! Walrein, use Blizzard!" David commanded. There weren't many tries left before Walrein got exhausted out of using that move.
