It wasn't much of a walk. Along the way, the butler took advantage of a path to use and, to avoid meeting these trainers again - his biggest wish right now - he showed off the arenas...
"We will allow battles around Gateway Island in multiple locations... these battles are outside the championships, and you can win PP through these battles. One of them is located here, in front of the Crystalline Silver Hotel. This arena surrounded by a fountain - over which it is also located - will serve as the stage for your battles. This is by far the most developed arena, and even allows some other comforts, such as being able to buy items at Hexagon Building, since this is the closest arena to the building."
The butler started to walk towards a plateau.
"Over there you can see the Lounge. We have prepared your arena there, and you will also have some food stores. What does that matter, you ask? You can use them during the battle. It is probably one of the only stores that will not move. You can expect much from the crowds if you battle in the Lounge."
He then pointed to the large plaza in front of the Lounge Building.
"That over there is the Central Plaza. There is nothing there besides you, the arena, and the crowd. You will barely find stores there, but you might have a good chance of finding rare items in its stores. You will pay a larger price, though, and you will have to battle at least once to get the rarest items."
He then made a 180º turn and pointed to a metropolis on the other end of the island.
"That is Klein Polis. It is the only city in Gateway Island, but you will find rarities there as well, for a lower price and higher frequency than in Central Plaza. To access Klein Polis, though, you will need to pay a few PP to the Crystalline Silver Transportation fee. It will be worth your ride, believe. There is one arena there, because the president did not allow many more. It is located in the middle of the city itself."
He then turned again to the Hexagon Building.
"That is the residence of Master Rover Lawride. He will be giving some things, I dunno which. He wants to keep it a secret for tonight. He seems to be planning big. But atop the Can Building, just to the left, you can see an arena. That is the Quick Arena, which is the most basic arena of all. Nothing to be said, because there are no crowds, nothing."
He breathed deeply and stared gloriously at the Hexagon Building again.
"And your true arena is atop Gateway Island's greatest construction... the Hexagon Building. The Official Championships Arena is there: atop the Hexagon. Crowds will fill it soon... you will see as you are called to battle."
The butler turned to the trainers. He was noticeably well humored, now.
"There are many more Arenas that can only be used in Championships. These arenas will provide themes: one will be in the middle of the Gateway Seas, I can assure you of that."
He sighed. That was mouthful.
"I will take my chance to present you with the list of roommates...
Willard will be sharing his room with Dr. James.
Andy will share her room with Geais.
Dawn will be with Yera.
Misty and Raina will be in the same room.
David will share room with Shadix.
And last, but not least, Max will share his room with Johna."
"Is there any question?"

Johna once again narrowed his eyes. He would have to be sharing his room with the trainer from earlier? He knew who this Max was, it was that trainer who had started that battle back before the ship left. He was what seemed to be a poster boy trainer to Johna. It was going to be quite annoying having to room with one of those people. However, he was sure that this Max character had not seen him since he had left before the battle had really gotten underway. After the quick tour, Johna turned and entered into the hotel, Dustin following his trainer. "We will have to have some sort of truce," he commented to him. Though, Johna was relieved that he was not going to room with that girl he had seen.
---------------------
If Andy had heard the assignment, she would have fallen flat on her face. With her equipment she had filling pretty much half the room, she had just enough room for herself and her pokemon. At the moment, she was taking down the cameras she had set up. Bailie and Zigzag were helping her as Crain flew in and landed next to her. "Hey there Crain," she said to him. She scratched his head, and took the camera off his neck. "Let's see what you filmed," she quickly fast forward through the film, her finger slipping near the end of the reel. "James. Andy will share her room with Geais..," she heard come from the film. She paused it there. "Wait... WHAT? I am going to have to... oh no..." she pause and looked at the pokemon. "HURRY! WE HAVE TO TAKE ALL OF THIS DOWN AND GET BACK TO THE ROOM BEFORE HE GETS THERE!" she paniced. The pokemon knew how urgent this was, she needed to be there to explain everything. "Hurry!"

Johna.
Hm. That sounded like an odd name for a person. Maybe he was royalty or somethin'. Heh. After the tour and the anouncment, he couldn't help but wonder what this kid was like. Hopfully, not a terrible person. He hate those kinds of people. Thos snotty kids who thought they were greater than everyone. Yeah, they were thr worst. Max him self wasn't spoiled or anything. he wasn't a brat. He never really asked for too much from his parents. But like his mother had always told him, you should never judge a person before you've met them. That'd be just wrong for him to do that.
"Thank you," he said to the desk clerk as she gave him his room key. He turned on his heels wondering if this Johna person was around. It would be fun to meet him. "C'mon," Flame he told his unhappy Pokemon. The fire type wasn't too eager to meet someone else. But he was like that. He never wanted to share his human with anyone else. Well, except for his Ninetails, that is.
James smirked as he got his room key, walking over to one side of the room. This Willward character sounded different. But of course, everyone was different. Though not everyone. Some people always wanted to be like others. Or Pokemon, for that matter. He thought that was pretty strange. James slowly found his way to a chair, sitting down. Umbreon quickly sat at his left side, lying down quickly. She seemed quirky, as if she couldn't wait to meet other Pokemon.
"hm...," James mumbled, looking around at the other trainers. "Well, I guess it won't hurt. Will it?" He spoke softly to him self as he grabbed three Pokeballs from his belt. He hadn't let out his other three partners in a long while. Since they got off the ship, in fact. They'd get restless, he knew. And besides he wasn't planning on going anywhere or battling anyone soon. "Let's go!" he said, throwing three Pokeballs into the air. Out came three oddly-colored Pokemon.
"Absol!" said one, looking around with interest at the Hotel they were in. The bird type only ignored it, going onto the oppisite side of Umbreon to settle and watch the other Pokemon go by.
"Grou!" the small fire-type cried, leaping onto it's owner's lap. James grunted a little when it practically dove into his stomach before cirling and lying down in his lap. Jame schuckled, patting the dog-like Pokemon as he watched trainers go by.
The people didn't seem to mind him much as he stood there, leaning against the wall with his amrs crossed. Blaze smirked at what few faces actualy turned to look at him. He still had the bag he had stolen, which was pretty hilarious. He couldn't help but wonder how long he could get away with this. Not very long, he supposed. Someone would try and throw him out while he was stealing food. Either that, or som e trainer would claim him. He could probably get away with being that camera girl's Pokemon. She had a Blazkien. Though he noticed a scar on that Pokemon, so Probably not. Man, this would be hard for him

David struggled to go forward, but it seemed useless. He had always had that bad luck, and nearly always got stuck in queues. It was something that simply happened, and now, he was stuck not because of a line, but because of a barrier of people trying to view the room correspondence.
But he didn't hold back, and making way across that mass of people,he finally made it to the attending desk.
The room key was given, and David rushed to the elevator before it was filled.
Luckily, he made it, and not very tight, the elevator's doors started to close.
"Oh well..." He sighed, looking down at the key. He had to put Mightyena into the ball, or else he wouldn't go up with them. "I guess we really have to be in the same room as her."
David trembled at the idea of sharing the room with Shadix. She'd probably spend the rest of the day talking about how much of a stalker he seems to be.

Raina thanked the butler when he gave her the key then wondered who this "Misty" was. She looked around thr group of people, regonizing a few people, to see anyone who didn't have a partner yet then she would ask if she was Misty.

"Wait. You onestly bevileve I'm going to sleep in the same room with him?" Shadix frowned as she pointed over at David. "That doesn't make me happy... Oh well, I would just let C.V. make a wall of fire inbetween us. That's an easy way to split the room." Shadix started to walk forward into the hotel. C.V. gave an angered gaze at David as they walked by.

The elevator didn't take long before arriving to their floor. David was the first to leave, should the others run over him.
He quickly ran out, searching for his number as the doors passed by in a blurred motion, ultimately stopping by his room, 112. His and... well, Shadix's. Although he didn't want to say it because she'd probably just started discussing.
He opened the door to inspect the room. Quite spacious, and the butler was right in one thing: the rooms were prepared for two people. The beds were on opposite walls, and on the wall opposed to the entrance door's, there was a wide view of the Gateway Island and Gateway Sea.
David's bag of clothing was already there, too: the other butlers had done that favor.
Without hesitating, he threw the key to the bed and drew out his four Pokéballs.
"Come on people, time to relax a little!" He said as a Mightyena, a Pidgeot, a Walrein and an Ampharos appeared in the room, quickly spreading across it. Mightyena quickly took its place over David's bed, the one on the right, while Walrein and Pidgeot went to check the view. David would open the windows, but then it could be dangerous. Ampharos, on his side, went to check the two bathrooms. "Now take it easy, its not only our room, okay?"
A unison reply came from the party Pokémon.

Shadix looked up and down the halls of the Crystalline Silver Hotel. She finally found her "and David's" room. She came in and frowed. He knew she was coming in and the fist thing he had to to was realse his pokemon into the room. Couldn't he have waited to see how their pokemon reacted? Well they where about to.
C.V. walked into the room and wasn't sure how to react. He acted defencive around the other pokemon. Letting loose a puff of flames at them when ever they got too close. Shadix walked over to C.V. She gentally stroked him to try and clam him down.
"Can't you have been smarter?" Shadix yelled at David. "Your pokemon are scaring C.V. You need to put them back"

The elevator was another annoying venture for Johna. He had to put a reluctent Dustin back in his pokeball because he would take up too much space. While he was out to destroy his brother, he did have class, he would not take up too places for himself or that would draw attention to him. He would have plenty of attention when he was king.
It got up to the second floor and he got out, breathing once he had. He paused for a moment before heading down the hall, looking for his room, which was 215. Upon finding it, he walked in. It was a relief to find that it was set up for two, which might make this unfortunate experience a little more barable. He might have been a punk but he was not a comepletely evil person. Though he did like his space. He walked over to the a bed and sat down. "Here we go," he commented and took hold of his pokeballs. "How about you have some time to stretch," he said, opening all of them.
Out came a Lucario, a Duskull, a Houndoom, a Gabite and a Crawdaunt. Dustin, the Lucario, looked around, having been axcious when he had been put back in his pokeball, but then noticed that they were alone. Reaper, the Duskull, flew into a shadowy part of the room, just watching everyone. Cane, the Houndoom, jumped onto the bed and laid his head down, ready for a nap. Duncan, the Gabite, walked over and looked out the window while Neptune, the Crawdaunt, looked at one of the two bathrooms, wanting to go for a swim somewhere. Johna stood up and walked into the bathroom. "How about just a little soke," he said as he started to fill up the bathtub. Neptune commented happily.
---------------------
After gathering up everything, Andy was rushing to the hotel, with two cases of equipment in hand. Behind her, Zigzag was also carrying equipment, and Crain was too. There was also an Machamp that was her father's helping her carry equipment, he had been sent to her because he had been trained to help her if needed. Coming up the rear was Bailie, who had the last of the equipment. She had paused after the others had started to run back to the hotel. She had sensed another fighting type pokemon, more importantly another Blazekin. She had paused to looked around to try and find where this other fire type was, however, she knew were she was needed and went after Andy.
They arrived in the hotel and menuvered around the outside of the crowd. She pushed passed everyone, the Machamp leading the way and got onto an elevator what was just about to be filled. She knew that she had just angered a bunch of trainers but she needed the elevator. Crain was outside, flying up to the third floor to where her room was located. Exiting the elevator, she made her way to room 318. She fumbled with the key but managed to burst through the door. Doing so sent a wave of relief over her when she saw that he had not arrived yet. She walked into the room and placed her equipment with the other stuff. She had more equipment than she normally did, she had pretty much every piece of equipment that she owned, filling up a bit of the room. "I hope I can explain this to my roomie," she wonder, opening the window so that Crain could come in. She sat down on the bed she had been using and sighed. "Thanks guys and thank you so much Titen, you are a big help," The Machamp bowed his head and walked over to her, two of his arms on his waste while the other two were crossed. "Though, I now know that you are going to start acting like my father," she sighed. She knew that her father had told him to act like him while he was there with her. "So, now we wait,"

David rolled his eyes and approached his Pokémon with the balls at hand.
"Pidgeot, Walrein, come back. You too, Ampharos." He called, and the Pokémon were absorbed into the ball. "Done. Mightyena's staying in my bed, so there's no problem."
An idea came to him. He approached the window and released Pidgeot.
"You can go and fly around. Make sure you're around the hotel in case I need you."
The bird was released and nodded at David's instructions, flying away.
David closed the window and got back to his bed.
"Man... I'm so tired..."

Huh. The elevator seemed to crowded for him and his Pokemon. Max was a bit upset that he didn't bring Flame's Pokeball, so he and his Pokemon were shoved into the corner. He was just lucky the elevator was quick, and they quicjkly shoved their way out onto the second floor.
"Remind me to take the stairs next time," mumbled Max, as the elevator door shut. Slowly he walked forward, looking at each door as he went along. His mind kept ratting two fifteen, the whole time until he found it. His key slid in easily, unlocking the door instantly. When the door opened, Max was planning to go all the way in. But he paused instantly. Umm..," he said slowly, seeing all the Pokemon that were around the room. "He must be here," Max said to him self, hearing the water running in the bathroom. "Hello?" he said in a loud voice, letting Flame in before closing the door, He began grabbing out his Pokeballs as he waited for a response, knowing his Pokemon would enjoy seeing other Pokemon.
"Two Ninteen, two ninteen," the man in the lab coat mummbled, his bag over his houlder. He walked almost endlessly down the hall, all four of his Pokemon behind him. He was smart enough to take the stair so his Pokemon could stay out, and that way no one would say a word bout them. "A ha!" James said aloud, slidding his key into a door. Instantly, the door opened, reveling a luxurious room. "How nice<' James mumbled, letting all his Pokeon in to claim their spots.
Rex instantly found a spot on the bed near the slidng glass door, obviously wanting a spot with a veiw while he slept. Swellow went to the door, which she waited mfor James to close to the main dooor and open the glass one before heading out side to hopfully fly around. Umbreon had found a place in one of the chairs, sitting on her rump as she watched Ace go to the TV to figure out what button was on. James laughed at the site as he sat down on one of the other chairs, grabbing the remote and making Ace jump when he turned it on. The cool air and sound of voices was almosy soothing.
"Wonder when Willward's gonna get here," James mumbled, watching the TV screen flash.

Johna heard the voice and stopped the flow of water into the tub, it was full and Neptune happily soaked in the water. Walking out of his bathroom, he looked at Max. "Hello," he said, dully, leaning against the door frame in the bathroom. This alerted Dustin and he more or less instantly appeared next to Johna, as a body guard would. He stood stiff. Cane had fallen asleep, so he did nothing and Reaper was remaing in the corner of Johna's half of the room. Duncan turned and looked at the new commer, curious as to what was going to happen. "You must be Max," he said, again with little emotion. "I am assuming that you have guessed that I am Johna," she stood staight and walked into the room a bit. "I have already claimed a bed, where this Houndoom is sleeping, the room is set up for two people so we both have space," he paused and turned around. "I don't care if you release your pokemon, they deserve time to stretch," the last part was sincere. He did care for pokemon, even if he didn't care much for humans.

"Uh, yeah," Max said a bit wearily, making the Pokeballs now in his hands grow. "And thanks. I really hadn't let them all out recently." Max looked at the Lucario wearily. Flame had already gotten practicaly infront of his trainer, growling slightly at it. "Let's go," Max said throwing alll five Pokeballs into the air. And out came five different Pokemon - a Dragonite, Dusknoir, Chatot, Leafeon and Monferno. "Hope they don't bother your Pokemon too much," Max said to Johna, giving a slight nod before looking to Flame. "C'mon," he told him, and quickly over to the bed opposite of the Houndoom.
Chatter the Chatot had already went to go look at the balcony when Max sat down. Dragon, the Dragonite, as joined his trainer and had laid down next to his bed. Inferno, the Monferno, was already peeking into the bathroom, seeing what was swimming. Chigger, Leafeon, had just sat infront of the TV, as if hoping it would turn off by magic. And Dusk, Dusknoir, floated by the Duskull, as if hoping to some kind of chat with it. Max had already took off his shoes and put them under his bed. His bag was on the floor, on the foot of his bed. Flame at laid down by it, as if gaurding it.

Johna watched the pokemon, looking at what he had. Very interesting array of pokemon, thought his eyes fell on the Dragonite. This made him cringe a bit as his brother also had a Dragonite, but his was green. He turned and walked past the Monferno and into the bathroom to tend to Neptune. The bathtub was too small for him to submerge in it so Johna was going to tend to that. Dustin locked eyes with Flame, forming some sort of rivalry right then and there. He slowly moved after his trainer, as if protecting him. However, her just stood at the entrance of the bathroom. Reaper looked at Dusk, almost in awe of the fully evolved for that him will one day be. The younger pokemon floated over to the evolved form, circling, admiring him. One could say an instant friendship, even though Johna didn't quite want to become friends with Max, he didn't much mind the friendships his pokemon made, unless it interfered with his plans, this one would not.

Misty had been fairly quiet for the majority of the trip. She was just taking everything in with amusement. Everything was so amazing here; she loved it! After the butler explained everything, Misty thanked him and took her key. She'd never heart of Raina before, but she hoped that they would get along alright.
After getting her key, she followed the others into the elevator. She eyed the numbers on her key and she waited for the elevator to take them to their floor. 107, which was the room number. When the elevator stopped, Misty stumbled out after the others and started down the hall to find her room. She wanted to meet Raina and unpack.
--- Meanwhile, Dawn had spent most of the time in the back of the group with Piplup. She listened quietly, trying to keep her pokemon quiet, too, as the butler spoke. When he stated that she was rooming with Yera, she raised an eyebrow. Who was Yera?
Getting her key from the butler, Dawn went straight to the elevator and piled in with many of the other trainers. Piplup squirmed in her arms, wanting down again, but she didn't let him down until they were on their floor. It was then that she set him down and glanced at her key. "Now to find our room..." She mumbled. [/size]
