Origin: Virdian City, Kanto
From The Outside In[/u]
Appearance: Look At Picture.
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Brown
Personality: Ceira is probably one of the nicest people you'll know. She has an out-going personality, and is willing to help just about anyone in need. Unlike most girls, she's a total Tom-Boy, and simply enjoys being out doors and in the mud. She doesn't care if she gets dirty or not, it's just another way of life for her. Though some people shun on her for this kind of attitude at her age, she doesn't care too much about it. She just likes being her self, and to her, that's all that matter's in the world. Yeah, she has manners and the such, so she won't act like a total unbehaved girl. Heck, she's also probably one of the most smartest and well-behaved person you'll meet. And even though she has smiles all the time, she'll also have a mean streak if you bug her just right.
Leave Out All The Rest[/u]
History: As far as she could remember, Ceira Lawford had always wanted to be a Pokemon Ranger and help those in need, weather it be Pokemon or Human. She had always enjoyed playing with her father's Pokemon, of which he had gotten when he had gone on a journey him self. Her favorite would always be the Jumpluff he caught for her when she was four. Thogh, she didn't see much in it because she didn't need to help it get better. More like it helped her get things better.
Her father didn't care too well for her going out and helping wild Pokemon, though her mother thought it was cute and that she needed the excercise when going out and playing. She didn't care, though, what her father thought of her. She plainly ignored her parent's bikcering about her and did what she could when she had time to go out and play on sunny days. On a rare ocassion, she would be allowed to go out to play even on storming days. She began getting more fit, growing a bit tall for her age. Even her father started to get amazed at how well she was at her age. Though, again, she really didn't care what her parents - or her father, really - thought of her. It was just her and her imagination. Then one day, at the age of eight, she struck out lucky.
She was playing a little too far from home with her Jumpluff and her father's Machop when she scrambled across a terrible scence. Two Pidgeotto were picking on a very injured looking Cobusken. It kept getting knocked down with many scars ans scrtaches on it, though it seemed obvlious on getting up. Around the third or fourth time Ceira saw it get up, it was barely wobbling. In fact, he looked as if he weren't going to get up at all. And one of the Pidgeottos were diving in for the final assulte. With half a brain in mind, Ceira called for Machop to help. The fighting type in deed did dive forward, knocking the Pidgeotto that had lurched on the Combusken to the ground. The Combusken looked suprised as it stayed where it layed, lifting it's torso up partly with it's elbows. With wits and skill on her side, Ceira then comanded her Jumpluff to attack the other Flying Type. Both startled, they fled quickly into the forest with suprise.
It wasn't too long before Ceira made it home with a red face, Machoke carrying the badly beaten Fire and Fighting Type. Both of her parents were almost awed. She had never brought home an injured Pokemon, only treated them in the wild. Though her father was mad at what she did by bringing a wild Pokemon into the house, he only let her mother do the talking about how good she was when it came to Pokemon. That made her feel proud, though she knew now that she had a pateint to take care of in the house. And she would use her brain to do it.
Over the next few weeks, she rarely left to Pokemon's side as it stayed on her bed. She usually asked Machoke and Jumpluff to go out and get the herds she needed to help the Combusken. Every time her mother went to the store, she would always stop by the Poke' Mart and get a few items to help. Her father was hoping that he could teach her a few things about Pokemon training, though she ignored his questions. It didn't take long for the Pokemon to heal, either. It was able to move within a week of Ceria taking care of it. She had been talking to it the whole time it had been sleeping, so it wasn't scared when it saw her face. It was soon able to move, and that's when Ceria had to keep her promise.
A few days after the Combusken had been able to walk - though he mainly hid in the corner of Ceira's room and wouldn't go anywhere else - she lead him out side, near the woods where she thought he lived. Of course, he was terrifyied, so Ceria had to make sure Machoke was there to keep him safe. She said good bye to him and stepped out of his way, saying he could go. He didn't hesitate to go, though he looked back as he ran into the shrubs and back to the safty of his home. Ceira didn't know how long she stood there before she turned and left, but she knew she had a pange in her heart. She was hoping to get a more powerful Pokemon of her own by befirending it when she helped it, and her chance had just blew away in the dust. She knew she would never again, fat chance.
But there's always a bit of hope that comes with some incedences, right?
Ceira wasn't really expecting to go to the river near her town. It was kind of stormy that day, rains going off and on to where no one knew if it was a real storm or just some of those little ones always passing by. Either way, the rocks near the waterfall were slippery. Ceira had thought she heard a Pokemon crying for help somewhere around there. It ha dbeen a week after letting the Combusken go, and still her thoughts were blureed on him. She did in fact bring Machoke with her, leaving Jumpluff behind in fear of it getting swept away by a large breeze if there was a storm coming. She didn't know what spooked her really; The distant sound of lightling or something scattering somewhere. Either way she had did a slight jump, and down she went with a slid into the water's current. She knew she wasn't getting out alive. Even Machoke - who had tried to grab onto her arms when she feel - couldn't save her. All she remembered was her rushing down the short distance before going down somewhere. And then she blacked out completely.
She didn't know how long it was before she woke up. A few trees were around her, and she heard the rushing of water nearby. She groaned a couple of times before she heard footsteps, and all of the sudden someone - or something - was sitting her up. And then she heard the voice. Something she recignized imtedently.
"Com? Combusken!"
She turned her head instantly to see the face that she had heald not some week ago. The Pokemon looked worried for her, and she had to ask - "Did you save me?" The Pokemon relpied with a nod. Then it said something in Pokemon language, held up one fingure, then turned and ran off to leave her sitting there several minutes. In that time, Machoke found her sitting there, as if by some amrical that she would be alive. Of course, she told him what happend. At the end of the story, the Combusken returned with an oran berry in hand. At first she wouldn't eat it, knowing it wouldn't help with her body being scrped and her being drenched. But enough enough persuastion by both Pokemon, she ate it all, not knowing how good they actualy were.
The Combusken followed her all the way home, the cloud parting as they went along, Lucky for Ceira, her clothes dried because of the sun. Machoke was grumbling about something, while the Conbusken - who was practicaly leading the way - humming something as it waved it's arms. But as they reached her home, the Pokemon became more and more anxious as it began to quickly fall behind. When they reache dher house, he was practicaly clinging on to her for dear life. She knew he must've had a tramatic past.
Her parents her furious with her when she didn't check in when she was supposed to, which made her tell her story. Both were disapointed in her. She begn trying to beg them to let her play with Pokemon still, but they were both on the edge of banning her from the woods. And finally she brought Combusken into it. He had stood out side the whole time while Ceria talked about him, telling her parents that if she could train him, she could be more protected. Even her father hadn't heard of a story of where a Pokemon come back to save a human that saved it's life before. Her mother slowly took her side again, and within the hour, they made a deal. With a few arrangments, that is.
Withing the next few years, Ceira studied Pokemon and Medicenes of the sort. She also trained her new partner Slash with her father, learning about Pokemon them selves and strengths and weaknesses. Her mother commented one night to her father after checking up on Ceira about how she hadn't seen such a lovley couple. Upstairs, Ceira layed on her stomach with a small breath as Slash laid his torso ontop of her backas if protecting her. Her father just laughed at that.
At the age of twelve, Ceira began her adventure a little bit late, but with knowlage. She left Jumpluff at home with her mother as a garden handy worker and took her father's Machoke as some sort of protection and muscles as she went. Her dream to become a trainer and ranger would soon be fulfilled. She soon took all eight Kanto Region badges as her own and competed in the Pokemon Leauge withing a couple of years, and soon got more interested in the different types of Pokemon there were in the world. Her now current mission if to find Shaymin and Giritina, recearching about htem and learning that that just may know the fate of the Earth as humanity know it.

Info: Each Pokemon on her team has a spesific reason for being there with her. Slash was her first Pokemon, and is sort of her fire. She took Champ with her as her muscles, knowing she'd need him. Pidgeotto is her air transportion. She had found the bird as a Pidgeotto in a Pokeball abondon on the road side. After not being able to find her trainer, she eventually just took the Pokemon as her own. The Pokemon really didn't get along with her at first, but not evolved, they're like best friends. Jaws had actualy came to her one morning as a Crconaw, looking for food because of his pond being completely empty.
