David hurried to the building with the red roof, but tried to hide the fact that his Mightyena had been carrying him all the way there. Although common, it wouldn't seem right.
He handed the table with his four Pokéballs and sat at a table, waiting for Catori.

Catori followed Daniel to the Pokemon Center, and once they were inside, she removed four of the Pokeballs from the strap of her bag, placing them onto a tray. She then glanced from the fifth ball to Rei, who shook her head.
"Are you sure?" Catori asked. "I mean, it's probably a good idea to get some rest, Rei."
The ghost Pokemon shook her head. +I'm fine, I swear.+ she smiled. +Worst case scenario, we can use a Potion. Until then, I don't need healing.+
Catori sighed. There was no point in arguing with her friend, so instead, she handed the nurse her tray, leaving Rei's Pokeball and the empty one on her bag, and went to sit down across from Daniel. Rei followed, landing on the girl's lap.

"Eheh, looks like that Misdreavus really likes you." David commended, sitting back. "Mightyena's like that, but... he's a little tired. He's in one of the Pokéballs over there."
He pointed to the tray being delivered for healing.
"So tell me, Catori, where'd you come from?"

Catori nodded, glancing to Rei for a moment. "Yeah. Rei's like, my best friend." she grinned, rubbing the Pokemon's head gently. "She was my first Pokemon." The Misdreavus smiled and nodded at what Catori had said.
"We're from Anusis Island. It's just off the coast near Blackthorn... Not many people know about it or go there though. There isn't much there." she explained, shrugging a little. "My family own a Pokemon Ranch there." she added. "What about you?"

"I'm from Viridian, in Kanto. Its more peaceful than people think, you know..." David answered, sitting back. "My parents are a twosome of explorers. They're probably still in those islands south of Kanto, just off the coast."
David glanced at the sign over the healing room's door. It still showed red.
"I knew a friend who lived in Blackthorn. You probably don't know her, but she's a friend of Clair's."

Catori smiled. "Cool." Explorers. That sounded pretty exciting. Part of the reason she'd left home was because she wanted to see the rest of the world, but she'd never thought of it as a career. Plus, she had little sense of direction, which definitely wouldn't have helped.
Following Daniel's gaze to the door, she frowned a little. Waiting for this sort of thing never failed to make her feel uneasy.
Turning back to him as he started talking again, Catori shook her head. "Sorry. I never really went there, we stayed on the island. And when I was there about a week ago, I literally just got on the first bus to New Bark."

David smiled back.
"Its okay. I've been in a journey through Johto once, that's why I was so nervous about having gone past Goldenrod." He facepalmed and laughed. "I'm so stupid, eheh."
But a pleasant sound was heard. A "ding dong" echoed through the waiting room, and the sign over the door went green.
"Guess what, the Pokémon are healed." David stated the obvious but he knew it. And he didn't really care either.
