Christmas.
That idyllic time of the year when families gather to celebrate... something.
Not too sure what it is.
But they get together. That's what matters, right?
Wrong Wrong WRONG.
Otherwise I wouldn't be crossing this snowstorm on my way to some town I've never even been to!
"Pidgeot! We'll have to land!" David yelled at the Bird Pokémon, trying to get his voice heard in the middle of the storm.
Pidgeot nodded and suddenly dived in the air, heading towards the ground at full speed.
Just before he could stretch his wings to land smoothly, though, a sudden snow layer came faster than it should, and so Pidgeot landed directly against the ground, rolling in the snow with David by its side.
"Smooth move..." David commented, spitting the snow he ate while rolling through the white field. "Return..."
The Pokémon became energy and flew into the object on David's hand.
"Now who'm I using...?"
He detached the Pokégear and checked it. The map showed he was throughly close to... nothing. Snowpoint was simply out of his range.
"Well it's gotta be somewhere around here..." He started walking into the storm, shielding his eyes from the storm with his arm.

"It's here, I think!"
Max's voice could barely be heard over the storm as he called to his Dragon-Type Pokemon, of whom was flying at extreme speeds just to go against the winds that blew at undying speeds. But of course, they were up almost too high up for anything, and they couldn't see much of anything from these sorts of altitudes. Max gulped slightly as he looked for a landing sight, though saw nothing of it. Just a few figures down below, and that was it,
"Try to land!" Max called again to Dragon, clutching his hat ontop his head to make sure it didn't go flying off at the moment. It was a slow ride down as Dragon tried to land, though the iront was that the wind was too strong. "Whoa!" Max called as the large Pokemon went flying back because of it's too tiny wings for it's too large of a body. Both trainer and Pokemon went splashing into the cold snow.
Well, at least they landed.
"Ugh!" Max groaned, sitting up slowly as he rubbed his head. He got hit by the Dragon-Type more than the ground, it seemed.
"Drago?" Dragon asked, getting to his feet. Max almost cracked up laughing when he saw his Pokemon, a comical sight. The Pokemon was covered high with snow, looking almost like some sort of outfit on him.
"Alright Dragon," Max said, getting to his feet and pulling out the Pokemon's Pokeball. "Thank's for the lift over here." The Pokemon gave a happy call as a red light absorbed the large Pokemon into it's sphere.
Max blinked as he looked around. Everything seemed bare and such. Where the hell was he? Max gave a sigh, grabbing two Pokeballs from his belt and tossing them into the air. Guess he should at least have a little help, now shouldn't he?
"I hate this weather," he simply mumbled as two red lights burst away from the figures that stood beside him.
"Typhlosun?" the taller of the two fire types asked, looking around confusingly at the netherland around them. The fox-looking Pokemon could have said the same thing. Max smirked slightly.
"C'mon, guys," he simply laughed, turning and walking even though he probably hadn't a clue where he was going. "We have to get to Snowpoint Temple before anyone else does!" Either Pokemon blinked before they started walking, Flame's back bursting into fire as some sort of light or beacon for other's to see.
It was cold. Freezing cold. Colder than usualy, really. Well, this was the north. And this is what it was supposed to be like, right? How lovly. Well, this is what you get for growing up in Cerulean, right? She didn't know why she didn't just take a boat to Snowpoint instead of walking. She didn't want Pidgeot's wings to freeze on the way up here, so the only other explantion for getting up there was to walk.
"I think we're almost ther!" Ceira Lawford called to her partner Pokemon, a fighting and fire type Pokemon she called Slash. "What do you think?"
Com-busk-en!" the Pokemon called in return, blinking slightly. Ceira gave a sigh, pausing breifly for a rest before she kept walking on in the storm.
"I don't get this," she mumbled solemly.

David could feel that his clothing beneath the jacket was wet... The snow was starting to form a small hat on his head, just above the new black and yellow bandanna on his forehead. The storm was starting to close around him, cloaking the area in obscurity.
"Ugh... I'll never get to Snowpoint at this rate. Ampharos!" The Pokémon appeared next to him, aiding the trainer with some heat from the warm wool. "I'm warm, thanks... but we're needing light. Use Flash and keep me guided."
The towering Pokémon nodded and lit its tail and head, giving him some light for the way.
"Okay, thanks... let's start walking... We've got to be in Snowpoint in time for the festival..."
"Urgh... Agh..."
Where am I? When did I...?
Snow?
KABAM! The snow mantel was blown away from a sudden blast of energy from the middle of the white fields, from which emerged a flying Pokémon, who flew away into the sky.
YEAH! I'm still in my Sky Forme! The Shaymin though while ascending gradually higher. But the Gracidea Flower Paradise got swallowed by the snow... I'll have to search for some so I can keep my shape...
The Shaymin created a ball of energy and shot it towards the snow, blasting most of the snow field away, unveiling a beautiful reddish flower in the middle of a solitary burnt terrain.
Oh... most of them died...
Despite his disappointment, the Shaymin flew down and cut the flower, placing it on his back.
There... now I can take you wherever!

Tumbling.. slipping.. falling.. was that all she could ever do? This poor teddiursa wondered way to far away from her home chasing after something or other. So now.. here she was, stuck on some ice.. in the middle of a storm. She started to make it into a game until the snow got too heavy and she would fall down... but slowly she was getting to a city.. a place to hide from this snow.
_________________________________________________________
Together they were again.. venturing a little bit too far away from their homes. It was Maxi and Theo, walking through snow.. since they didn't have any flying pokemon. The most Maxi could do was maybe get out Teddiursa because it's warm.. or his Ursaring.. but it was hard to tell what Ursaring would do.
So they continued on. Max and Theo.. against the world! That's what it seemed like.. but never was it like that. Somebody ALWAYS helped them, this time wouldn't be any different....would it?

"Do you see anything?" Max was able to shout through the tundra of the north to his Pokemon which barely sounded like any kind of noise to anyone else. Max was now praticaly trying to stay warm by keeping close to Flame's fire that now burned intensly on his back. He was thinking about hoping on Nine and getting a ride from her. Either Pokemon shook their heads when he asked them the question, and all he could do was sigh. "Darn," he muttered lowing, which didn't sound like much of anything to anyone at the moment.
"Phloshun?" Flame suddenly queered, pausing as he stared up ahead. Max paused, too, with Nine at his side.
"Huh?" Max questioned alo[ND}

Although he had a burning desire to reach the city at the top of what seemed more like the North Pole, he knew that his will wouldn't melt the snow gathering upon him.
"Ugh... it's no use. We won't be going any further." David looked up at Ampharos, who was somewhat taller than her trainer. She was trembling from the cold, he knew it. "You did good, return."
The Pokémon transformed into energy and flew directly into the Pokéball, which was placed on David's belt. He already had a new one at hand.
"Mightyena, you're my last hope to reach that damn town." He said, calling the Pokémon out.
His trusty partner appeared right next to him, offering a ride.
"L-Let's hope you're f-fast enough..." David muttered, starting to feel the cold.
Mightyena nodded and started running as fast as his legs allowed him, crossing the snow, fierce and fearless.
Okay, let's go!
Aldium started to run across the snow, taking flight after some steps, ascending even higher than the storm to escape the snow.
Aaah! Much better! He thought as the sunlight bathed his flower-like scarf. At least I won't return to my other form while I'm up here... Now, which way is that town...?

Skye walked through the snow, wind gushing in her face. She rubbed her arms fiercely to keep them warm.
Walking through this snowstorm just to get to Snowpoint city was a bad idea. She thought.
She didn't want to strain any of her pokemon just to get across. But time was running out and she needed to get warm fast.
"We're close by now so I'm calling you out Rapidash!!" She threw a pokeball and energy that was shaped as a horse came out. It formed into a fire burning pony that gave off a loud neigh. Skye gracefully climbed up on her and patted her fiery mane. "Come on, Rapidash. Gallop as fast as you can so we could get out of this bloody snowstorm. And so we all don't freeze." She gave a small laugh for the last remark she made.
The horse galloped into the snow, going faster and faster. Skye didn't mind the wind blowing to her. She felt warm, and soon enough they'd get to the city in no time.

The snowstorm wasn't the best obstacle to have, at that moment. David knew it, he tried to open his eyes to see through the storm, trying to tell apart the buildings and the trees.
He knew he was getting close because he heard a loud noise which could've only come from a ship, as if it were a horn.
"Mighthyena! We're getting close to Snowpoint!" He told his Pokemon, checking the Pokégear; he hardly moved his fingers, so it was getting difficult to click on the buttons. "We won't make it to Snowpoint in time for the Christmas celebration! Dang it!"

"T-theo.. we need to get there faster.." Maxi mumbles, arms gathered around him to keep warmth as he slowly stepped forward. Theo was behind him, a little cold but walking just fine. This was because Theo was part pokemon, so the cold didn't effect him as much.
Finally Maxi remember a pokemon he hadn't used in a while that he had picked up before he left, his Quilava! He picked up the pokeball and released the pokemon. It wasn't big enough for him to really ride, but it was still warm, so he would stay by it. This allowed them to go just a little faster.

It was only a few minutes and already Skye saw the city of Snowpoint. The wind started to die down and Rapidash gradually came to a halt as they reached the city.
"I know you're fast Rapid, but damn I bet you're the fastest in the whole world!" Skye joked. "You were a big help, and now I'm not that cold anymore." She jumped off and took out Rapidash's pokeball. The horse turned into energy and returned into the pokeball.
She brushed her side bangs out of the way and was ready for her new adventure in Snowpoint City. It was her first time in the snowy city so she wasn't expecting anything wild at the time.

I can't see anything through these clouds...
The Shaymin ran in the air for a while to gain speed.
Urgh... but I'll probably revert back to my Land Forme if I go down... I heard there's a big flower festival in that town, too...
Aldium sighed and took a confident look.
But I have to do what I have to do!
So with a confident nod, the Shaymin curved and dove in the sky towards the clouds, hoping to find an opening in the weather.

Skye walked around, looking for something to pop up her interest. There weren't a lot of people, but still enough to make it look like an average population.
A pokemart caught her eye and immediately her eyes sparkled. "OOooo! I wonder if they're selling that new product I wanted!!" She was about to take off and then realized she was in a public area.
She cleared her throat. "I mean, I'll just go take a look..." She said to herself as she had a reputation to cover. She didn't want to be known as the pokemon otaku. She was an expert, a professor, if you may, and knew almost everything there was about pokemon. ALMOST, that is. She is still studying and when she's done with an area, she goes back there again when she gets the chance.
As you can see, she studies......alot.
Skye walked through the doors of the small store. It was full of heat which was nice, after being out there in the cold.

"Slow down..." David soothingly whispered on Mightyena's ear. "We're here."
He jumped off his Pokémon's back and sighed. The mountain village was just in front of him, just beyond the forest. He didn't even know he used to be in a forest, but that didn't really matter.
"Come on... let's go to the PokéCenter to get something warm." He added, stepping to a new, pavemented floor, instead of the cold, snowy one. Mightyena felt it in his paws too, and both quietly walked into the decorated town with a smile.

Max and Theo kept walking towards it but weren't as close as they were hoping. The heat from Quilava was keeping Max warm for now.
The little bear that had been playing on the snow and ice finally got bored and walked just a little ways and was at the city, looking around. With it in the snow, it almost seemed to be like it was a frozen teddiursa, if it would stay still.

There were only 2 aisles in the small pokemart but enough to make Skye squeal, in her head of course. She walked through the first aisle and found snacks that her pokemon would love. There were a couple different brand of snacks so she looked at which one would be healthier and chose it.
She also got a few hyper potions if she ever needed it.
After looking through both aisles, she couldn't find the item she was looking for.
Well I guess it can't be here since it's such a small store. And to make it worse, I don't even know when it's going to be sold...
She went to the cashier and paid a little over 10,000 pokemoney for everything. After, she put it in her bag and went of her way out back into the cold. Although it was warmer now that she was in a city instead of being in the mountains.
