June 12th New IslandThe helicopter approaches from and off shore ocean liner. A few trainers, including myself, sit around inside as they fly over the island. The island itself was large; about ten miles to one side and 35 miles to the other in its egg-shape land mass. The forest was mostly over run with plants of the jungle type from where I could see. It was an amazing view of the island from up here. We were sent here for a contest. There was a computer on the island some where and we were sent to get a disk from it and bring it back to the helicopter. If you did it, you won! They were giving out quiet a bit of cash as well. The only thing besides the trainers I was competing with, I only had to look out for the savage pokemon on this island. What was it called again? New Island was it? What ever the name, I knew this would be an easy win with my typhlosion, C.V. Just had to make sure these pokemon or anyone else picked us off. As I looked down at the island, I noticed it looked sickly. The plants were dropping in the sun, the sea a sickly green, and not a pokemon to be heard or seen flying in the skies. I asked about this to some one on the helicopter. "It's nothing to be concerned about." he said nicely with a nice grin. "New Island has always been like this." ((OOC: After everyone at least post once the helicopter will land on the island. Get ready for a long walk. ))

Luna was on a boat where sailors walked around. She was in her fox form so she was lying down on the deck, slowly sleeping to the lullaby of the rocking ship. Some sailors would give her a snack and pet her for a while.
Everything seemed to go quiet until Luna heard yells, orders of somesort. Her head perked up as she noticed a huge wave coming towards the ship. She immediately got up to go find a safe spot but before she knew it, she was all alone on the deck and when she heard someone calling for her. "Ninetales, get in here before you get washed away." She ran to where she heard the voice and saw a door open with a man urging her to come to safety.
But the man had a shocked expression on and before Luna could make it, the door closed to prevent water from coming in and Luna was washed away from the huge tidal wave.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Skye sat quietly in the helicopter, in the middle. This...contest was a good refresher to all her researching. She needed a break so a contest seemed like a good idea. She wouldn't be lazy on her break nor would she even have to think about work.
She looked out a couple of times and when the man answered the girl, saying how it's always been like that. She couldn't help wondering about work again. This could be like the best place to research but stop thinking about it, Skye. This is my 'vacation' and I won't let anything ruin it... She made a subtle face which made her look unapproachable.

Mightyena yawned, completely exhausted. Not from running, should it not be a Mightyena and run around prairies and forests in search of prey.
He was exhausted from the trip, exhausted from hearing the helicopter's rotor and exhausted from hearing his own trainer endlessly repeat the same question over and over:
"How'd we get into this, Mightyena?" David persistently asked, discreetly sighing.
He wasn't alone; at all. Several others were inside that helicopter, but David didn't have the guts to get up and speak.
The man in the cockpit answered something to one of the persons; but David couldn't hear it, nor the question placed before.

Charles Veriter, or Charlie as he liked to go by, Was sitting in the helicopter reviewing the mission one last time in his mind before deciding to turn his attention to the others.
Charlie was to partake in this "special contest" and recover the "disk" that was so often mentioned and return to base with it to decode the data and find out what these people were up to. He was to pose as a pokemon trainer (to make him adequate for a candidate) and he was not to take any weapons, as they would blow his cover. He was allowed, however, to use whatever skills he had at his disposal for survival. He was issued a team of pokemon for his cover role. He had trained with them for a few weeks, so that they could have a close enough bond between each other in order to fool any other trainers. Charlie was not to give out any information as to what his mission was, but if he was asked questions, he was to come up with a back story that had nothing to do with his current goal.
Charlie had wondered what was going on with the island. He had been shown pictures of it before a certain date and it did not look as bad it did now. Obviously something had happened here... And from what he overheard from the conversation from the trainer, the pilot was lying about the island. Charlie didn't bring anything up about it, because it would be too easy for someone to figure out he knows something.
Charlie sits quietly, leaning over with his elbows resting on his legs, holding up his head, hands covering his mouth. He was wearing a set of clothes to make him a little less conspicuous. He was wearing a white T-shirt, denim jeans, his black fingerless gloves, some old looking sneakers, and a plain blue colored baseball cap.
Charlie had wondered how he was going to pull this off as the people who "sponsored" this contest wants the disk back. He knew he couldn't give it to them if he was supposed to return it to his superiors... He had no technological device that could copy data, so copying the disk data and returning it was out of the question. Not to mention the fact that there was little intel on what these people were working on.
From the small information on the pictures, there was a great deal of worry among his superiors. They were worried that something similar to what Charlie encountered had occurred there, but there was no real way to tell. They were going to send Charlie fully equipped for the mission, but something came up that had canceled their current plan. But a new plan had emerged from what had come up. Their new plan was exactly what Charlie was doing right now...
(O.O.C. Holy schiza! Huge freaking post! srry for this peoiple, its in full detail tho)

"I've never liked air planes," the boy in the cap muttered as he listened to the others talk around him. Max scrunched tighter into his seat, Flame seeming to try and get a better look out of one of the windows. Oh yeah, he just had to ask Elm about new Pokemon battling contests, didn't he? Next time, he noted to him self, I want to see what it's all about first.
He heard one of the men in the cockpit answer about something on the island, and Max finally got the chance to look over Flame and through the window. It was nasty looking, personally. He should have went to Hoenn instead to battle for the Pokemon League there, he knew it. On his shoulder, a small Chatot slept soundly, having to be brought because Elm asked him to. Max scoffed slightly at the thought as he settled back down into his seat, looking at the faces around him. He recognized David for sure; hadn't they battled together before or something? Some of the other faces he recognized, though couldn't put a name to them. He'd ask them later, possibly.
What was their job again? He had forgotten entirely since they got on this loud and lousy contraption. He would have rather taken Dragonite to the island, possibly follow the helicopter it self or just take given directions. That would have been easier, but Flame would have disagreed having to be put in his Poke'Ball. Ninetails was already mad at him, from how she acted when Max went to put her in it. With a sigh, the boy sat back, and hoped that this ride would be over.
"Gah! Stupid seaweed!"
The island seemed somewhat descent, the green water around it seeming to kill anything that moved in it. Well, except for the fact that a Blaziken came came out, soaking wet, seeming to be covered in seaweed. The Pokemon seemed to have been washed up for one reason or another, and seem angered as well. You would be too if you were a fire type that got shoved into some nasty water.
"Bleh!" the Pokemon spat before coughing lightly, as if having something in his throat. "Neh, last time I try and get into a fight with an angry Nidoking and then try and flee. Blech!"
The Pokemon looked around wearily at his sourondings, and for a moment wanted to turn around and start swimming back. There were too many high waves, though, which was how he got wash up on this place anyway. Last time he did anything crazy while it was storming, personally. Like he wouldn't, but still. He would try. The Pokemon gave a weary sigh before stepping forward into a brisk walk.
"Well, better find some place to-," He was cut off by a helicopter or something strange like that, which made him stop in his tracks. Instinctively, he turned and fled for cover at the nearest bush, which wasn't that much, for his sake.

The helicopter hit the ground with a light thud. Shadix started to unhook herself from her safely-belt as every one soon got out. Looking around, there was only one small building by the worn-down helicopter pad. Jungle was in all other directions. The gurgling of the sea drifted it's way through the trees, and a rotten smell fouled the air.
"Ugh," Shadix said covering her noise. "This place doesn't even smell the least bit pleasant..."
As soon as everyone got off, one person from the plane got in front of them. "Okay, let's go over things one more time for yah." the man said in annoyance it seemed. "All of you are here to get a disk from the other side of the island." He began. "The island is infested with ravage pokemon though, so don't start battling each other yet. There hasn't been much human contact so they are naturally feral. There aren't exactly pokemon centers on the island ether you know. Next, first one to get the disk back here wins. All you have to do is make sure it isn't broken or smashed in the process." The man then started back towards the copter. "Good luck." he tossed to them before shutting the door and the helicopter went on it's way.
Shadix watched the helicopter as it flew out of sight over the diseased trees. "Well, better get started." she mumbled to herself. She wasn't exactly thrilled about being on an island full of ravage pokemon.

"That was fast..." David commented, watching as everyone started to walk out. "Come on, Mightyena. You've slept enough."
The Pokémon reluctantly got up and followed its trainer, but not before yawning loudly and stretching as much as possible.
"Lazy as ever." He added, walking out of the contraption. Apparently, someone was already giving them indications of what to do; and out of the indications, David only got the part Don't start battling and Get the disk.
Disk?
He felt like yelling something out; while his passion wasn't Gym Leaders, Championships never went by unchallenged. And now he had to retrieve a disk? What'd that have to do with battling?
And before he could even say anything, the helicopter took flight, disappearing between the trees.
"Just... what... where... how...?" He couldn't really decide what to ask; everything seemed questionable.

Skye walked out of the helicopter and looked around her surroundings. The scenery couldn't have been worse. Everything seemed to wilt and want attention.
As the man spoke the instructions and left as soon as he finished, Skye couldn't help but wonder why the rush. We don't even have enough time to think. I guess I better get going...

Luna shivered as she finally found land. She had swam through giant waves to get to an eerie place. Her senses had weakened from being in water for a while but she could smell a distinct odor in the air. It was awful and as she was finally aware of where she was, she knew it was horrible luck she had landed on this island. The fox shivered even more, knowing this.

Everyone seemed unsure of what to do. No one was getting anywhere by just standing there though. Shadix wanted to win this thing, but the question dawned on her to try and team up with another person. The island was full of wild pokemon and having another person with her would help. David would have been a good choice since she knew him, but she kind of wanted to go off on her own for once.
"Well, I'm not sticking around here." Shadix decided. "I'm going to go get that disk!" She unleashed her typhsion, C.V. from out of his pokeball. "Let's go C.V!" Her pokemon gave out a magnificent roar in response. With they said, they both walked into the brush of the sickly forest.

Luna steadily walked through the deadly forest, afraid of even the slightest sound. She didn't stay at the edge of the beach because the water was just too much for her. Though in her head, she was afraid of going deeper into the island would be a bigger mistake.
-------------
Skye released her mightyena to get set. "Come on, Kurochie...you heard the girl right? Let's head off." She looked back at David and gave a slight smirk, pretty much saying 'you should get going as well.'
Kurochie looked back at David's mightyena and gave a gruff. Conceited little dog. Skye started walking into the dead woods, along with the Mightyena right behind her.

Max had personally only half listened to the man that spoke after he and Flame got off the danm conpraption. His legs felt wobbly from the ride, and defintaly knew that he should have taken the Dragonite express him self. Max blinked as a few others released their Pokemon before turning towards Flame, Chatter still on his shoulder.
"Well," he sighed, blinking slightly as the island sounds and smells finally began to enter his senses, "think we'd better get going?" Flame gave a slight nod, Chatter bouncing on the boy's shoulder with a sing songy voice. "Right," Max nodded, looking around. "But where do we start?"
Blaze gave a sigh as the machine took off, and glade no one had seen him. Instantly, while he made sure no one had saw him, he turned and took off in the direction of the forest, hoping no one would try to catch him. Or notice him, at least.

Shadix and C.V. where walking through the forest. The silence around them was eerie and cold. C.V. was on the look out for anything to come near as they walk through thick brush. It was clear no one had been through here for long time. It was a wonder that any body had walked through here to get that disk to where it was. Walking through there though felt creepy, like they where being watched... Even C.V. showed it as he scaned the bushes.

When Charlie exited the chopper he moved a little a bit away from it, but stayed near everyone else. He completly ignored the person giving details, as he already knew what he was to do. He was, however, having trouble trying to come up with a plan. Was he to try to assist someone in recovering the disc? Or would he travel alone to ensure his mission's safety?
Charlie had been alone numerous times before, but this time he wasn't exactly alone. He did have his Pokemon with him, but he was only going to use them if he had to. Charlie did not like to risk anyone else's life, especially those who were dragged into this without any consent. Charlie sat down on a fairly large boulder to try to make up his mind.

Mightyena's attention rose a few levels at the sight of the new Mightyena - but the gruff look she gave him left the hyena confused about what he should do; the best option that moment was to look away very slightly.
David's confusion, on the other hand, was already high enough to leave him standing a friends met in his journeys strolled past him without receiving a response from the boy.
"I... but..." Skye was the last person he saw; conversely, the first person he immediately felt like following; and so, without any alternatives of his own, Mightyena groaned and followed his trainer.
David's idea of following Skye, though, was very limited; he intended to follow her, indeed, but only until he was able to decipher exactly what he was looking for.
"H-hey! W-wait!" He stammered in his speech as the path closed in front of him. And before long, there was no trace of anyone. "Dang it. We're alone. Again."

A few moments after everyone was gone, Charlie decided it would be best to get a start. Some of the others already had a good start and were way ahead of him. He decided he could formulate a plan while being on the move (which would be better than sitting around and letting his mission be a failure due to not going anywhere).
Charlie had gone into the thick, sickly looking brush while thinking about many numerous things. He knew that if anyone obtained the disc before him he'd have to take either by force, or steal it when they let there guard down. But he preferred not to steal; in fact, he'd rather not have to take anything at all. But as the circumstances were he was just going to have to do it, whether he liked it or not.
