Out of all the things that could go wrong, this one defintaly the worst! He had been planning to go to Sinnoh, start off there. From what Elm had kept telling him, it was a great place to look around, possibly find a few things about Inferno as well. Well, maybe. If the little monkey-like Pokemon didn't bound out of it's trainer's grasp every time he was released from his Pokeball. One reason why, at this, moment, the Pokemon wasn't allowed out of his Pokeball. It didn't matter, of course. The ship that Maxwell Smith had been on had to make a stop because there had been something wrong with it. Either that, or he got onto the wrong ship. He couldn't remember, he was so angry.
Max slowly departed off of the docks and into the edge of Littleroot Town. When he had departed from the ship a few minutes ago, he had to sadly enough return Flame. Because of his trainer's anger, the Typhlosion kept growling at everyone that went by like he was going to attack him. Go he got temporarily switched out for Dusk while Nintails got to stick around. It was lucky that she knew when to attack people. Dusk, of course, kept trying to wonder off to explore the actual part of town. Luckily he was better at listening than Inferno was. It was after a while of just walking that Max paused, giving an almost epic and tragic sigh.
"Dear Arceus, why does this always happen to me?" he muttered as he managed to stop near a tree. "I mean this has happened to me like, what? Three times already? Sigh, I need better luck than I have now."
"Dusk?" the Ghost Pokemon said almost sadly, possibly telling that his trainer was a little upset. Dusk was always like that, to say the least. Even to strangers, as the case may be. It was sometimes funny to see other's faces when a large Ghost Type suddenly walked - or floated - up to them when they were upset to see what was wrong. The thought made Max laugh inwardly.
"Ah, it's nothin'," Max assured, placing now his hands behind his head and looking up towards the cloudless sky. "Just thought that it would be entertaining to go to Sinnoh. It sounded more fun, the way Elm and Chatter bragged about it." Max gave a sigh, his arms dropping to his side. "I just seriously don't know what to do anymore, you guys."

Jacket a hand... check. Sunglasses... check. Region Map... check.
"Hehe... Time to search." The boy put his shades on and exhibited his more-than-usual smile; the same one he wouldn't let down for anything. With the jacket over the right shoulder, he went out of the ship, his eyes always looking forward with such confidence one would ask if he was trying to pick up a fight.
"According to what Lawride told me..." He muttered, narrowing his eyes. "There's supposedly this guy called Wallace who's both the regional champion AND a master of contests. Heh."
Allan Sharas let out the first grunt in quite a while; leaving behind every Pokémon but his Infernape was his boldest move yet since he challenged his ultimate rival at the Silver League. He had studied his enemy well; Wallace was a water-type Champion, so beating him down shouldn't put much of a problem... or should it?
"This is gonna be too easy..." He muttered yet again, now stopping where the street parted into 3 ways, just near the docks. He looked around, searching for nothing in particular; only to find something that caught his eye. "Hello...?" He said with a cocky smirk.
That boy and his Pokémon... he's letting them walk around like it was nothing... and what Pokémon...! He thought, widening his smile - if that was even possible. That kid's gonna be my way into the Hoenn League...
And by now, Allan was already cooking a plan... one he would have to lay out very well.

Silvia strolled around town for no reason at all. She wanted to explore Hoenn again, just one last time for the memories. The last time she explored it, she didn't set any goals or plans. She didn't mind not having any badges, it wasn't like she had anything to prove to anyone. Besides, she'd rather explore as much as possible.
"Maybe this time around, I'll go and get those badges," she thought to herself.

Max was just mutually angered at the moment, Dusk, nudging him a couple of times to get his attention for something. Ninetails had already sat down, watching her trainer intently, though red eyes averting other places every so often. The wind was light blowing, and after a few moments of thought, Max thought that possibly being in Hoenn wouldn't be so bad, really. Yeah, he could just have to talk to the region professor - Professor Birch, right? - and possibly get his Pokedex updated or something of the sort. Yeah, that would work. Max looked arounf for a moment before motioning for his Pokemon to follow before he took off walking in some direction. He followed the path, hoping to pass someone who knew the way around this place.
He finally noticed a women walking. She looked older, really, and perhaps she knew where she was going. Well, hopefully, anyways.
"Hey!" he gvae a call to her, hoping she would slow down as he jogged up to her and stopping, Dusk and Ninetails close behind. "Un, excume me, but would you happen to know where the lab is? I kinda don't know my way around here." Max gave a slight chuckle on that part.
"Dusk!" Dusk seemed to greet almost too happily, and if possible, he possibly would have greeted the girl with a huge tackle as well. Well, if Ninetails wasn't out of her Pokeball, to say the least, knowing what she might do if he did.

Silvia noticed A young boy run up to her, calling to her. After listening to his question she got to answering it.
"Yeah, the Pokemon lab, it's furthest part southwest of town. My name's Silvia, by the way. So what's your name?" She asked.

Allan cringed as the boy ran towards the woman; his smile faded away for a moment, but immediately came back as he took a step backwards.
"Hm... So the kid's lost..." He deduced from the boy's actions. "Fine. I'll just include her in the plan... I need to see how this turns out, first..."
And with that, he blended into the crowd, watching the twosome's actions from afar.

"Really? Thanks. I was gettin' kinda lost," Max chuckled at his own stupidity. "Silvia? Well, nice to meet you. I'm Max." Max thought he was done introducing, when the Dusknoir next to him protested.
"Dusk! the large Pokemon said, his eye temporatily at a slightly madden look. Max could only roll his eyes.
"That's Dusk, by the way," Max said, nodding to the ghost type beside him. Dusk gave a happy call now, and Max nodded to the Ninetails. "And that's Nine. So I take it you're here to start a journey or something?"

"Nice to meet you both," Silvia said to the pokemon, "and yeah, I guess you could say that I'm starting a journey. I've explored this entire region before, but didn't consider badge hunting, so I guess I'll do it this time around. And I'm guessing that your previous questions mean that you're going on a journey as well?"
