Max stepped slowly into the dark arena, a small Leafeon close behind him. It's ears twitched slightly, as if it was ready for battle. Max stared lightly at the opponet across from him, a slight smirk on his face. This would be an easy battle, and he knew it at heart.
"Ready when you are!" Max called to his opponet, clutching tight a Pokebal in his fist. "Get ready for an extremely tough battle. One that you'll loose!

"Don't be so sure about that, just because you've been a trainer longer doesn't mean your better than me!" Alex hollered from across the stadium. "and I'll prove it! go, Pretty Bird, Flame!"
"Combusk!" Flame cried. "Swellow!" he hollered along side the
Combusken. " you make the first move!"

Max nodded with a smile. "Alrighty, then! he said aloud. "Let's go, then, Chatter Box!" Max threw the Pokeball in his hand into the air. A red flash appeared, and a Pokemon was released from it's silent red glare.
"Burrrr-utoooo!" the small bird-like Pokemon sang out, hobbling around on the ground. Max looked to his side, nodding to the grass type next to him.
"Feon!" the Pokemon cried as it leapt forward, taking a stand next to it's freind.
"Alright, Chigger!" he called. "Use Magical Leaf! Chatter, use Areil Ace!"

Flame, use flamethrower to get through the leaves!" Alex commanded. "Com-bus-ken" it shouted as flames burst though it's mouth. " Pretty Bird, follow up flamethrower with aerial ace!" he shouted towards the Swellow. "Swellow" it cried as it spiraled the flames.

The leaves burnt to a crisp as the flamethrower was launched. Max gulped slightly.
"Dodge it, Chigger!" he ordered his grass-type.
"Feon!" cried the Pokemon as it jumped left, going under it to get away from the heat. Meanwhile, Chatter crashed into it's feathery opponet.
"Chatter Box, whirl wind!" Max commanded. Quickly, the bird flew up into the air, creating a gust.

Alex was in a tight spot, but he knew just how to pull this off.
"Flame, use Flamethrower in an upward motion, and Pretty Bird, fly above the flames and hit the flames down toward Chatter Box using Steel Wing!" the trainer desperately commanded his Pokemon.

"Chigger!" Max called as his grass type got slightly hit by the foe's Flamethrower. Oh, well, though; it wasn't that bad. "Chigger, return!" he commanded his grass-type, hoping to use if for later. "And go, Ty!" Meanwhile, Chatter made a dogde of the foe's Steel wing. "Chatter, Areil Ace" commanded. Quickly the Pokemon responded by coutner-acting the attack. And Ty, use Stone Edge on Combusken!" The Ground Type gave a mighty roar in response, quickly taking off in a run as one of his sides began to turn to stone.
[OOC; yes, we can use three of our Pokemon to make it fair since you have three at the current moment.
