Quick Championships: David vs Raina, 1 vs 1

[Đ. Lawride]

"What kind of battle can we expect to see today, where David Lawride and Raina Heartnet will confront in the battlefield?"

"And don't forget, this is also the first Quick Battle in Championships! One of them will get out of here with 15 PP in their hands! Let's watch!"

David slowly entered the Quick Arena holding his three Pokéballs.

He stopped in his place, readying the first one.

"We're off, and I'll win!"

[Raina Heartnet]

Raina chuckled as she held three Pokeballs as well. "Funny. Because we know I will win." She joked as she stepped into place.
"I guess I go first?" She looked at her pokeballs then picked one out, placeing the other two on her belt. "Fine then! Come on out Dragonite!" She threw the pokeball, and with a pop, an orange dragon apeared.
"Draaaaaa!" It cried.

[Đ. Lawride]

David didn't back away. It was time to take advantage.

"Walrein! Show what you're made of!" He yelled, throwing the ball to the middle of the arena.

The ball spun all its way, but ended up turned towards David's side of the arena, allowing Walrein to appear.

"Ladies first." David snickered.

[Raina Heartnet]

"Such a Gentleman ." She chuckled. "alright Dragonite, use Wing attack!" Raina called. Dragonite Rawred and flew up in the air, beating his wings harder as they started to glow white. Some sonic ripples were sent twards Walrein.

[Đ. Lawride]

"Walrein, endure the hit and use Ice Beam on Dragonite!" David ordered, pointing at Dragonite.

Walrein's body got tense and the hit landed. Because of Walrein's body mass, the hit was barely felt, and immediately after, a ray of ice was thrown at the Dragon Pokémon.

"This is sure to land hard." David commented to himself.

[Raina Heartnet]

"Dragonite!" Raina called as He was hit by the ice beam and fell fast and hard to the ground, making a dent in the battle gorund floor. "come on, break out of it!" Dragonite shook and the ice sprayed as he broke out of the ice cocoon. Raina could tell that he had gotten a good hit on him. "Alright use Fly!" Dragon ite flew around in the sky a few times before flying as fast as he could at the ice pokemon.

Walrein won't endure this one, he'll be thrown away...

David covered his face as the Dragonite flew by and Walrein was helplessly thrown back by the hit.

"Walrein! Endure it and use Blizzard!" David shouted in the middle of the confusion, crouching to avoid being hit by the snow storm that quickly came from behind.

[Raina Heartnet]

Before Dragonite could get to Walrein, it unleashed a powerful Blizzard that sent Dragonite into a tumble in the wind and snow. Raina Mirrored David, covering her face with her arms.

"Not c-cool!" She shivered. Her cothing wasn't much for snoy weather. Tank top and shorts with flip flops. "You suck!" She called to David. "Dragonite u-use Hyper Beam!" Raina called.

Dragonite Slid to a stop from the wind and took a dep breath. Soon he unleashed a hyper beam at the Walrein.

[Đ. Lawride]

"Walrein!" David got up and shouted as his Pokémon was inevitably shot by the Hyper Beam. It was his chance now, even though Walrein was too weak. "Its your chance! Throw Dragonite down with Ice Beam!"

"WAL!" The Pokémon yelled before shooting a fast ray of ice.

[Raina Heartnet]

"NO!" Dragonite was hit and fell to the floor; Knocked out. "Dang. Nice try." She called him back in. "you got lucky. Pichu, feel ready to fight him? He's waek now." Raina asked the small mouse.
"Pichu!"
"Alright, Go Pichu!" She jumped into the battle field with a determined face.
"Pi! Pichu!" She squeeked.

"A Pichu, huh?" David commented, assuming his position again. "Alright, Walrein! Show what you're made of and use Ice Beam!"

Despite being weak, the Ice Beam could still be shot, and was, and in a short moment, the beam was thrown across the arena.

[Raina Heartnet]

Since Pichu was small, she was able to dodge the ice beam easily. "Come on Pichu! Use Spark!" Pichu jumped into the air and sent some sparks around the Walrein with a "Piiiiii!"

[Đ. Lawride]

Nothing new here...

"Sorry, Walrein!" David said, calling Walrein back to the Pokéball after the zap left him down. It was predictable. "Time to change strategy."

David took out another Pokéball and threw it.

It revealed a Mightyena, which roared fiercely at the Pichu.

"Mightyena! Crunch on Pichu!"

[Raina Heartnet]

The huge dog towered over Pichu making her shiver, but she didn't back off. she watched it, witing for a command. "Don't dodge it pichu!"
"PI?" She squeeked. When Mightyena bit down on Pichu Raina called "Now use thunderbolt!" Pichu understood and let out a huge shock on Mightyena.

David gasped at the movement. It was a direct hit!

"Damnit! I didn't see that one coming!"

Mightyena instantly let go off Pichu, backing away to recover.

"Now use Body Slam! Make sure it lands!"

"Mightyena!" It replied, dashing against Pichu.
