It was actualy quiet for once.
Not like it never wasn't. I mean, come on! Life would be a bit boring or drag if it were fighting all of the time. Max would know. He's practicaly been there, really. Though, he blames Team Rocket for most of that. Oh, the irony of it all, right? Though, on a glorious day in New Bark Town, what would anyone else do but rest? The air was warm, having the time bee around noon as the sun set high in the sky. The air blew all but frequently, having the warm but satisfying air at a stand-still so everyone could enjoy it. Though most sought it boring, others sought it a day to relax and try to make the most of it, maybe trying to see life as it was or is at the time of day.
Max was one of those few, not having anything to do, really. Literally all of his Pokemon were loose as he slept under a tree, not but a few tards from Elm's Labrotory. Chatter had been so grcious to join them, flying high above with a Noctowl as they flew around, giving bird calls to one another. Max, under a tree, lay with his hat tipped down to give him even more shade than he already had; as if he needed any more. Nine lay on one side of him, her tails covering her trainer's legs. Flame lay on the other side, or the right side to be percise. He layed on his back, a small smile gleaming on his face as he had nothing to do. Max's head lay on Dragon' overly-large "pot belly" with is hands behind his head as he slept, the large Pokemon snoring.
Nearby, Dusk, Chigger - who normally stayed at the lab -, Inferno, and Gem - who would ratther play then spend a day sitting at home sleeping - were playing a game a tag together, running around as Inferno seemed to be it. And getting nowhere with it, at that. Ty, one of the largest Pokemon of the bunch, stood near the lab door, trying to peak in at what the Professor did in side there. As if it were any interesting to any of them, really. What the Professor did in his lab wasn't much of Max's buisness, nor did he care really. Well, maybe except for the fact that he could meet people who wanted to become trainers because it was their tenth birthday and what-not.
But like that was any of his buiness, right?
At the moment, he had nothing to do but wait around and watch grass grow. Or rather, sleep in growing grass. It wouldn't effect much, would it? He didn't think so. His mind was still debeting weather or not he should start a new journey in Johto and try to win the championships again, or go to another region and start there.. Anything he thought up wasn't thata great, and he was almost wishing someone would come up and decide that for him. Either that, or just have someone of whom he could travel with for the whole region. But like that was going to happen, right? It never normally did, and he wished that it had. But like this would be any different, right?
Right?

"Uh-oh..."
Just great. A tiny Pokémon lost in a town where barely ANYBODY seemed to live! What a great way of NEVER reaching ANYWHERE. Just great.
Aldium sighed and back against the tree, rubbing his own back. It wasn't easy, carrying a potentially mortal weapon on one's back and have it take the shape of grass. It was even less easier to be such a small being susceptible to be eaten, tackled or simply attacked just because you're feeling you had a bad day.
Under the tree's shadow, the Shaymin seriously considered what to do next... for once. Because it has always been like that. Ever since he was left behind by everyone, he would have to get used to make a living out of something. Even if it took the sacrifice of being caught.
"I just wish I'd reach that stupid garden once and for all..." He thought, not noticing he was actually producing the telepathic waves through each he could communicate with humans. Because humans are SO advanced in evolution they can't understand Pokémon language.

"I just wish I'd reach that stupid garden once and for all..."
Max sat up instantly on that note, looking around. Nine barely moved a muscle, just shifting her self into a better position for sleeping. Flame, on the other hand, sat up quickly with his trainer, being the one who would always sense something wrong when Max thought something was wrong. What a Pokemon, huh? Ha. Seriously, yeah right. Max blinked, looking around slowly. There weren't really any humans around as far as he could tell.
"Hey, uh, Flame?" he said slowly, looking towards his partner Pokemon. "Did you, uh, hear someone or something talkng just a second ago?" The Fire-Type blinked at him before shaking it's head. Max sighed, shaking his head in dismay. "Maybe it was just Chatter or something," mumbled to himself, leaning up a bit to peer past the leaves of the tree to see wacth the Flying-Type Pokemon and it's companion.
Meanwhile, against the tree, Dragon yawned and rolled over, his belly pressed up against the tree. His little wings fluttered slightly as he yawned again, opening his eyes to peer around hazly. And then his nose twitched. He blinked, looking ahead slighty. Was that a tall patch of grass at the base of the tree? How strange. It wasn't there before, was it? Dragon blinked, leaning forward to sniff it. His mouth opened slightly.
And then he bit it.
[OCC; Lol. Dragon has a stupied moment.]

Wait, did he just feel something?
Yes, he was pretty sure he did. There WAS something going on there. Aldium quickly opened his eyes and looked around. Nothing to report apparently... Until he started feeling something on his back.
"Why won't this darn itching go away...?!" He thought once more, trying to move to rub his back against the tree's wood again.
But... why wasn't he being able to move?
The puzzled Shaymin tried to move again. He started to run, but he still wasn't moving.
Until he heard something behind. Impatient to rub his back, he looked up and was about to start yelling in his weak, Pokémon voice when he saw that grotesque figure bitting his back's grass cover.
He didn't curse for a moment, so his face went from pale to red.
"What do you think you're doing?!" He thought again to talk with the Pokémon.

Something was walking around. It looked like a little bear.. but it was blue. It was hiding in a tree.. but then it fell out and landed in a bush. She got stuck in it.
She squirmed around. "Teeeeeeeeeddyyyyyy!" She yelps, squirming more. Eventually she got out and rolled to the side. She was lost.. and confused. Everywhere she went people treated her strangely. She never did anything bad though.
And so she continued on, looking for some kind of fun or something better to do. Eventually she found a bunch of pokemon running around playing tag. She silently slipped into the group of pokemon and started to play with them, quickly figuring out what they were playing. She hoped that they wouldn't find her and be mean again.. she didn't want to hide again.

"Dru?" the Dragon-Type Pokemon said muffly, blinking [Anime Style]. Slowly it opened it's mouth fully, letting go of the small Pokemon and lifting it self up onto it's legs. "Drago?" it said again confusingly, as if saying, "Well, what 're you?"
"Huh?" Max queered at the sound of his Pokemon's call, leaning back to look at his Flying-Type Pokemon. Nine slowly and weairly rose her head, a dazed look in her eyes as she - tried to - stare at her fellow Pokemon. "Dragon, what's the matter?" Max asked, spinning himself around to see what was wrong. And then he blinked.
Was that a moving peice of grass?
"Pholshun?" Flame said, blainking as he went to peer around the tree to see what everyone was looking at.
Meanwhile, Max's other Pokemon - excluded a Tyranitar - were still playing tag, regarless what was going on at the tree from where their trainer was staying. Like it mattered, them knowing he wouldn't do anything exciting without including them. Inferno gavea screech as he was finally able to land a tag on the Ghost type Pokemon, he himself almost falling on his face in return.
"Ouch," he mumbled in Pokemon language, pulling himself off the ground and shaking his face to get the dirt off of it. Dusk began laughing a hardy laugh - almost that of Santa Claus - clutching his stomach slightly.
"Purr......Your still it, I see," Star purred, making a quick jolt around the Ghost Type, making him jump.
"Ey!" he called, quick to try and dogde towards the cat-like Pokemon, only to be cut off by the Grass-Type Eevee-lution dogding in front of him and racing past. Dusk grumbled a bit before looking around, trying to pick a target.
And then he blinked.
An oddly-colored Teddyursa? How odd. When did it get here? Looked like it was having fun, though. Dusk blinked again, tilting his head a little. Inferno seemed to notice, too, though - what with his friendly nature and such- only raced over to the playing Teddyursa, wanting to makre friends with it.
"You playing too?" he only asked, his tail waving with a smile on his face. He was the most childish of the bunch, anyone could tell.

"Yup!" The teddiursa says, making sure to keep and eye on the pokemon that was it. She was ready to dodge if it came near. Yet she was talking to the pokemon in front of her too. Then she was off again, running around the pokemon that was it.

"Oh, right, you all haven't got telepathy like I do." Aldium proudly replied, giving off a bold smirk. "Because I'm a Shaymin, and you're not!" He said in the same tone.
That was just when he felt that itching on his back again, and immediately leaped against the tree to rub the grass on his back on the wooden surface.
"These things aren't easy..." He commented, sighing in relief from the feeling. "So, what are you?" He kept talking.
Aldium kept switching from telepathy to Pokémon speech at such a rate even him wasn't sure if he was making complete sense.

"Hm?" Dragon blinked, looking down at the small Pokemon. "Er, me?" he asked, his tone almost sounding like a confused child. "I'ma Dragonite. An' yer Shaymin? Eh, I've hear about you - uh, somehwat - from Elm. He says your a legendary Pokemon. You know, like Ho-Oh is? Right?"
"Weird....," Flame muttered, coming around to get a better look at the small grass-type. Well, if he was a grass type, that is.
"Whoa!" Max exclaimed, jumping to his feet and blinking. What the....." Things just keep getting weirder and weiders he thought, leaning over a bit to get a closer look at the Pokemon. Though it was pretty difficult considering that his second overly-large Pokemon was in his way, making him assum that he was having a conversation qwith the small Pokemon. Nine had jumped to her feet as well, cocking her head to one side.
Max slowly - wanting not to spook the small Pokemon - reaching for his backpack - somehow, he never left home without it - pulling out his Pokedex. Of course, the Pokemon wouldn't be too afraid if it were ledgendary. They always seemed to be fearless unlike their more seen cousins.
Dusk only shrugged as both Inferno and the small Tedyursa started playing again, and began trying to find someone to tag. Chatter - though more than likly wanting to investigate the small, oddly-colored Pokemon - landed on a near-by rock, watching the other Pokemon play. The Noctowl landed neadeby, keeping silent as it, too, watched the Pokemon play.
"Got you!" Dusk shouted jokfully, tapping the Teddyursa on the head, indacating it was it.

The pokemon that tagged Aoi scared her, but then she saw that she was it. She went running at Gem. She jumped and went to tackle at it to try to tag it. "Your it!" She says, though she wasn't sure if she was gonna hit it or not. She noticed she missed and went rolling on the ground. She got back up and ran at Gem again. She dove one last time.

Aldium laughed, but then his expression became annoyed when he noticed the tree was about as soft as the grass. No chance of getting that itching off his back with that tree, there wasn't.
"Tsc, legendary. Just 'cause you don't see us all around doesn't mean we're legendary." He seemed rather annoyed, but his smile got back to his face when he found a bark on the ground. He used his head to drag it against the tree and started scratching his back again.
He then noticed there was a boy looking down at him with an utterly surprised expression, using some kind of object pointed at him. In an almost cartoonish motion, he slowly stopped scratching against the bark to look at the boy a little better.
"What are you doing?" He questioned using telepathy.

"Huh?" Max paused what he was doing, looking around confusingly. He finnally blinked before looking back at the small Pokemon in suprise. Was he actualy talking to him? How weird. "Umm....," Max was finally able to say after a bit of shock. "This is a Poke'Dex. It, uh, is used to record data of Pokemon." Max chuckled lightly, still blinking.
"I still don't get the use of those things," Nine mumbled, looking to the side slightly.
"Uh oh," the Persian mumbled before toppling to the ground one time, onto her side. "Oof," she managed to grunt slightly. Everyone began laughing instantly at the Pokemon.
"Think your it, Gem," Dusk laughed heartily.
"Shut up," Gem murmured back jokfully.

Aoi tagged her than went off running. She laughed a little bit and looked back. But because she paid no attention.. she tripped on a rock.
Aoi then went falling down and rolling a little bit. She got back up though, not seeming to be hurt too bad from the fall. Then she was running again.

Aldium felt his body a lot lighter now. His nerves simply vanished after that stupid itching on his back slowly disappeared into the grass, relieving him quite a bit.
He let out a sigh and went back to his shadow, scratching the fright flower with his back paw.
"Record data? What for?" He kept asking, even though he wasn't really curious. He just knew that, by keeping the guy busy, he could finally get some sleep and start his journey to the garden again as soon as possible.

"Um, so Professor Birch and some other people can learn about you and stuff," Max blinked. Now he looked down, seeming confused. "You know, now that I think about it, I really don't know myself." he started to chuckle lightly, Nine giving a slight huff out of her nostrols.
"Give no mind to him," she mummbled, her tails waving slightly. "He may be twelve, but he has the mind of an eight-year-old."
"Hey!" Flame growled in defense of his trainer, one of his small ears twitching lightly. Dragon only stood, listening in on the conversation. Though he seemed now more interesed in sleeping rather than staying up and listening in on the conversation.
"All I know," Max was able to say, "is that it records data about Pokemon and then tells you about it. At least, that's what Birch told me."
Dusk and Gem laughed as they wacthed the Teddyursa, though it was Inferno who pushed the Cat-Like Pokemon into running again, chasing after the Fire-Type who seemed to actualy be a good runner.
