Oh shiyit...maybe I shouldn't have said anything about all my pokemon having special abilities that every traveler should have. They do have special abilities but I don't have any ice pokemon... She bit her lip and after a while, sighed.
"Okay, Fly, you're gonna slowly go down where David and his Walrein is...but don't touch the ground. Just use your special ability, levitate. We don't want the ground crumbling under us now, okay?" She gave special instructions and flygon nodded.
He caught up with them and hovered over the ice. "Okay, so let's go inside...if we can..." She rubbed her pokemon's long neck to comfort him.

David watched closely as they went deeper into the cave. Engravings appeared in a seemingly random disposition all over the walls, often connected to Zubats hanging from above.
"Skye, pay close attention to the walls..." He warned, discreetly pointing at both the Zubat and Golbats that started to gather. "We might have company."

"Oh they aren't so bad. If we don't bother them, they won't bother us." Skye spoke in a quiet voice. "I've studied zubats and golbats before. We'll be just fine."
The cave seemed to keep getting darker and darker as they went deeper in. Luckily for Flygon, he has good vision so he's okay. Although being in the dark for Skye, she has to solely rely on Flygon to get them safely around, if anything is in the way.

"You sure you don't need a ride down here? We're gonna descend, now..." David asked, watching as a row of stairs dug into the temple's floor. The floor became slightly damper, perhaps because the ice on that area already thawed out, and the glacial cold that gave David the chills was already being vented away by the warmer temperatures outside.
The ground became a much more solid, cemented ground where David could now set foot and walk on his own. He was grateful for it; his Walrein was even more.
"I think we can walk from here on." He said, calling Walrein back to send out his Ampharos. "Lead the way, girl." He jokingly requested with a slight tone of seriousness. But mostly joke.

"Uh okay," Skye descended from Flygon and let out a sigh, but not like a sad one. She didn't send Flygon back into his pokeball so he walked beside her. Luckily since David sent out Ampharos, she won't be so in the dark.
"So...what exactly are we supposed to be looking for? I never thought of looking through info about this temple before coming to Snowpoint." She spoke as she carefully walked along.

After a quick growl, Ampahros's tail began to shine, emitting a powerful light that illuminated most of the area.
"Me neither." David sighed, walking close to his Ampharos. "The leader mentioned there was something odd about the temple... but... besides some random quakes, I sense nothing."

((oh haha I totally forgot lol))
Skye only nodded. The temple seemed very eerie and dark, almost as if something was wrong with it. The atmosphere was also weird. She noticed the zubats and golbats were acting different as well. She didn't know what was different, they just were. Something was off, and that was making the pokemon uneasy. Even her flygon looked uneasy as they walked deeper inside.
Flygon stopped in his tracks, his neck straigtening. Skye looked back, "What's wrong, Fly?" She asked, afraid of what his reply would be.

David noticed that Skye had stopped. Turning back, he saw her Flygon looking around with a perplexed look, with the trainer stopped just by it.
"Is something the matter?" The light in the cave seemed to falter as soon as the question was uttered. Turning to his own Pokémon, even Ampharos wasn't looking very comfortable. "Hey girl, what's the matter?"
David was about to place a hand on her wool when a short spark flew between it and his hand. Luckily, the glove absorbed most of the electricity, but his hand still became dormant.
"Something's troubling them..." He knew he was stating the obvious.

Skye stared at Flygon with a worried expression. Pokemon always knew if there was something wrong much quicker than humans did.
He growled, staring into the darkness. Then silence occurred. After what seemed like hours, Flygon continued to walk. He walked past Ampharos into the darkness. "Hey, Flygon, wait up! What's with ya?" She ran into the darkness, not waiting for David and his pokemon.

"Damn it! You'll get lost if you don't have light! Wait!" David uselessly hollered, watching as Skye and her Flygon disappeared in the darkness of the cave.
He quickly acted:
"Ampharos, get back! Mightyena, le-..." He stopped as he remembered: his best companion did not tag along. "DAMN IT!"
David put Ampharos's Pokéball away again, and made an effort to grab the Pokémon's paw; even towering above the trainer, the Pokémon was rather light.
"Come on, Ampharos! Just this once, resist that urge!"
The Pokémon was becoming more and more nervous; David could notice it by the sparks its wool was releasing.
But finally, she started to walk, and fortunately in the direction David intended to follow: Skye's.

Skye could see only her pokemon's back. Everything seemed dark, but she trusted Flygon to not fall in a hole or hit a wall, as his vision is extremely well in the dark. "Hey Fly! wait up! What's the matter!?" She yelled out, trying to get his attention. It wasn't working.

Am I going crazy... or is my Pokégear actually beeping?! David thought, using his free hand to pull the Pokégear out of his strap.
The screen was well-lit; maybe Ampharos was conducting energy to it in her incontrollable spurt of electricity.
"The radar..." He mumbled, watching as a graphic appeared on the screen, indicating several dots. The radar was a very recent feature his uncle, Anthony Hailbird, installed in the trainer gear. And since it was advanced to its time, David could actually see where he was in relation to something. In this case, Skye. But there was something else... "Skye! There's something...!"

Skye heard her name being called out, even if it was very feint, the call. "Huh?" Though she didn't look back as she was too afraid of losing the sight of Flygon's back.
Finally, Flygon stopped and Skye bumped into him. "You stopped? Now, tell me what's the matter with you." He kept growling, but not at Skye. At the darkness. She couldn't see what was there, but obviously he could. For a second there, she thought she saw something huge.

David's eyes widened in amaze as something rose not far from them; it was an incredible monster, as wide as a building and about as tall as a medium-sized house. Six dots flashed in its front, emitting red, blue and silver colored lights with blinding intensity.
"Skye...! Get outta there!"

Skye backed up, seeing the giant. She tripped over a cobble and fell on her behind. From the force of her ankle hitting the miniature boulder, it probably broke the bone. Or atleast fractured it. She tried to get up but it stung badly.
Oh god, this isn't a good time to get one self hurt, dammit!!
It looked like the giant pokemon's 'eyes' turned to look at Skye. It was in an extremely mad mood. It raised an arm up, meaning to smash her. Skye tried to move her leg but all it got was much more redder and it swelled up.
Right before she could've been smashed, Flygon flew to Skye and grabbed her out of the way. She yelled out from the sudden pain but luckily her life was saved. Flygon held her up high, away from the danger. Although that left David alone on the ground...
(Sorry I didn't know what to write about so this was the first thing that came to my head xD )
