Hey there, everyone! New Year is closing up (Christmas went past us rather quickly xD)!
We've come a long way since May 8th (which is both the day when we were founded and the date of the first post, which is also in this section).
We've seen many good roleplayers come by; as well as many people who just signed up and left. Oh well.
Some of the roleplayers came and went as well, and some others stayed with us. The oldest of them is Skye, who had the patience to follow us all the way from our original Pokémon Gateway on Invisionfree, and is still among us in Gateway Island. Skye was the last member to follow us on Pokémon Gateway, and was one of the few who still roleplayed there; using good, quality posts.
Island-wise, Kcx is the oldest roleplayers, since she was the first one to sign up and roleplay as well! Above it all, she's still with us, and her roleplaying quality hasn't dropped! This not counting Salimus and Kuroko (who has been thoroughly busy), our two other staff members. Salimus, however, is one of our most supportive members, and she still roleplays on our side, even if she is somewhat busy right now.
Then we had Raina Hearnet and Misty join us! Two very good roleplayers as well, even if none has contacted us in the past five months. From what I know, Misty is as busy as the others, along with Raina.
We soon had three more roleplayers join our team!
DarkbahamutneoZERO, Mathewwite and potatoshreder. The two first ones are still at it; two proactive members who haven't left our team! Ranging quality and activity, they're two members who are obviously to be distinguished. potatoshreder followed us for some time, until late August, when he left for unknown reasons, and has yet to contact us.
We then had a long series of members with quality roleplaying: Remedi, Austin, Yera (this one's still coming and going), Roxie... and many others! It was around the end of Summer that I was absent for over a month; I had Yera replace then.
After Summer, I think our activity went sky rocket. Max, one of our members who is hungry for more to roleplays, still follows us with the same eager to roleplay spirit as always, always joining a roleplay at the first opportunity! Serris, the lead administrator of Syphernia, or at least that was the name back then, one of our affiliates, joined us to marvel with a great roleplay, Mewtwo Project. He's still coming around sometimes; I've seen him in the guest list. Even more recently, we had Holly Phillips, who just as eager to roleplay as Max himself. xD
Forum-wise! Our post count now tops 3120!
I never expected to see this, taken that Pokémon Gateway barely lasted four months! xD
We had a successful Halloween Special, along with temporarily successful Championships! And we can be proud of it, and hope that we can hold yet another and better one next year!
All of ours sections bloom in activity, or have bloomed in their own time. The regions were assaulted with great roleplay ideas, and our games section haunted by Ban the User Above You game!
From art to music (remember the time when Zero had a Music Player for us around here? xD), and from roleplays to games, we had a good one around here!
And so, this is my retrospective! From my point of view at least; I invite you all to show me your point of view!
All that’s left for me now is to wish a Happy New Year!
And of course, MANY MORE TO COME!
